The 1984 Dallas Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held in Dallas, Texas on July 8, 1984. It was the only Formula One race to be held in Dallas. It was the ninth race of the 1984 Formula One World Championship. In addition to the race, the Dallas Grand Prix was also a major cultural event for the city, attracting a mix of celebrities and local residents. The race was also televised to a national audience, including Jimmy Carter, former president.
