2011 Wizards Roster

The Wizards made significant moves in the offseason and the 2011 Wizards roster is strong. The team signed Beal, who is 28 years old, and two young international wings with high upside in Dinwiddie and Kuzma. Caldwell-Pope was also added to the roster. They also hired new head coach Wes Unseld Jr., who is a former college assistant coach. The Washington Wizards will begin the regular season against New Jersey Nets.

The Washington Wizards ended the season with 20 wins and 46 defeats. They were fourth in the Eastern Conference’s Southeast Division. The Wizards scored 6,180 and allowed 6,497 points. John Wall scored 1,076 points and dished out 530 assists. The team’s coaching staff was a blend of Randy Wittman and Flip Saunders. They were a very popular team but it took a while to find a new coach.
