Adam Jacoby – A Celebrity Surgeon
Adam Jacoby is an esteemed surgeon renowned for performing all forms of plastic and reconstructive surgery and upper extremity reconstruction, including microsurgical and boney reconstruction techniques.
Sportsnet Corporation and is an award-winning international sports travel company, founded by him. Additionally, he regularly speaks at universities and conferences about politics. Recently he launched MiVote: an app-based democracy platform designed to change how people participate in politics.
Early Life and Education
Jacoby responded quickly when his mother posted on Facebook an appeal for building supplies; he donated them. Additionally, when at Starbucks recently, he bought coffee for the person behind him – all this while living his beliefs of giving back! As his mother has reported it.
He is the founding director of sports media company Mummu Sport and was honored as both a BRW Fast Starter Winner and top 50 Innovators Conference participant in 2017. Additionally, he established and serves as chief steward and council member for MiVote: an online pro-democracy platform.
At OHSU, he has won multiple house staff and graduate student teaching awards and helped foster a scientific culture within the division of pulmonary and critical care. His research interests focus on understanding how airway nerves connect to disease-fighting eosinophils for improved respiratory care.
Jacoby co-hosts ESPN morning show Jalen & Jacoby and has also served as fill-in host and commentator on other ESPN programs including SportsNation. He holds a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University as well as executive program studies completed at Cambridge University. Furthermore, Jacoby founded and chaired global sports travel business Mummu Sport as well as quickly expanding global democracy movement MiVote as founder/director.
Jacoby moved from Skokie, Illinois to Flushing when he was 10 years old. His two siblings are actors Laura Jayne and Robert Jayne who both share his name. Since 2006 he has been married and lives with Melissa in Austin Texas with their son Maxwell; together they own Jacoby’s Restaurant located downtown Austin.

His Pentecostal parents instilled him with the importance of giving back, so when he saw someone panhandling on the street he gave them a few dollars as soon as he saw them.
He and Kris Swift serve as contemporary representations of their families; Jacoby’s stable-to-table restaurant continues the ranching legacy while The Mercantile offers practical design objects and candles to act as de facto registries. Soon enough they hope to add children of their own.
Jacoby has become known for writing, producing, engineering and mixing music for many different artists throughout his career. In 2007, he established Eusonia Records – which has released albums by Maiysha, SiLyA and Zach Deputy among other artists – while working on movie soundtracks as well. Furthermore, Jacoby is also an accomplished pianist who has performed with various bands over time.

In his free time he enjoys trail running, racing, golf and reading – as well as competing in alpine, nordic and ski mountaineering events he owns a home there and an estimated net worth estimated to exceed $10 Million.
