Early Life and Education

Adams was raised in Bowie, Maryland as part of a multiracial family with a strong commitment to education. After attending Xavier University for his bachelor’s degree and earning an MBA at University of New Orleans. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc and believes we can reach our goals together.

He is passionately dedicated to supporting our military members, particularly those serving at Joint Base Andrews-Naval Air Facility. As such, he was key in supporting the renovation of Maryland Room, an open reception and relaxation space within Malcolm Grow Medical Center.

His clinical excellence and community involvement have earned him recognition from The Washingtonian and other publications, with every year earning peer acknowledgement by their readers. Dr. Greenberg served on both the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America Advisory Board as well as being on its Diversity Committee; currently, he sits on National Gastroenterology Diversity Committee’s Diversity Committee.

Professional Career

Adams Drugs is dedicated to serving its community in many ways, including mobilizing its resources and relationships in support of our Armed Forces. Adams Drugs provided key funding towards renovating a Maryland room at Joint Base Andrews’ Malcolm Grow Medical Center.

South Lakes High School alum and Concord University player Adam Adams also showcased his leadership capabilities at West Virginia’s Concord University, according to former South Lakes head coach Jason Rebrovich from Syracuse assistant Jason Rebrovich’s praise of Adam’s qualities as a leader at Syracuse assistant Jason Rebrovich’s praise of Adams’ leadership qualities at South Lakes High School.

She made her directing debut with the 1994 live-action short On Hope and also made appearances on various television shows and movies; most notably Dexter as future mother-in-law for serial killer Dexter as well as Private Practice and Extant.

Achievement and Honors

Emily Adams has been recognized by Virginia Tech as their 2022 Outstanding Senior in Computer Science. She earned a spot on all undergraduate semester Dean’s Lists while also earning the Wright Partman Scholarship and ranking among her graduating peers as a top performer in her department. Dimitrios Nikolopoulos, her professor and department head, lauded Emily as an adept student who demonstrated “vision and aspirations” of their program.

Shenandoah University named her to their 2023 Global Citizenship Project allowing her to travel during spring break for either international or domestic trips.

Personal Life

Adams understands the transformative potential of quality education, and actively supports students on their educational journey as former Chairperson of Bowie State University Foundation and member of 100 Black Men of Prince George’s County. Additionally, he stands firm behind the American with Disabilities Act.

He is an impressive graduate of two historically black college and university institutions (HBCUs), dedicating countless hours to civic engagement. He serves on the board of The Honor Foundation and played an integral part in its military special operations campus launch in Virginia Beach. Furthermore, he supports military veterans and their families, such as through support of Joint Base Andrews-Naval Air Facility’s Malcolm Grow Medical Center where the Maryland Room exists.

She has appeared in several television series, most recently in Chantilly Lace on Showtime and as Christopher Henderson’s wife in 24. Additionally, Benz had recurring roles on Dexter as his mother-in-law as well as playing Leigh Kern in CBS science fiction drama Extant.
