The Patriots fell short in their state championship game for a second consecutive time, yet their seniors did not take this defeat personally; rather they developed an ambitious plan to reach their goal set out two years ago.

Riley McCaughey will quickly become one of Palm Beach County’s breakout stars this season, thanks to her dynamic serves and quick feet which have propelled the Bucs into an unprecedented six-game winning streak.

Early Life and Education

She is the daughter of Alicia and Scott Benjamin and has an older sister, Sarah. At NSU she majors in journalism with an emphasis in public relations; one day she plans on opening up her own image consulting firm. Additionally, she enjoys traveling and boating.

Kaszeta had an exceptional high school coaching career before joining the University of Vermont’s coaching staff, winning eight league championships while coaching cross country and nine more while coaching track.

He is well-versed in club competition, having participated with Encinitas Wave Volleyball and Coast Volleyball. Additionally, he made three Junior Olympic appearances and has earned multiple titles during his time playing. Since 2012 he has also coached Life Center Academy’s varsity girls’ volleyball team; apart from this he enjoys video gaming and road trips.

Professional Career

As a high school volleyball player, she led her team to victory in Division IV state volleyball championships as captain of her four-year letterwinning class and won three Coastal League championships along the way.

She has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. Currently she serves as coach at Arizona State University (ASU) where her Sun Devils rank first in terms of slugging percentage and second for runs scored, home runs, and total bases.

She has played professionally across several countries. Beginning her professional career with Linkoping VC of Sweden in 2009 and competing for one season with RWE Volleys Bottrop in Germany; finally Boldklubben Marienlyst of Denmark League was her final stop.

Achievement and Honors

Benjamin volleyball has returned to the state semifinals since 2010, and while none of this year’s players remember being there when that win took place, they certainly know about it.

BYU sophomore middle blocker Teon Taylor earned this week’s Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Defensive Player of the Week honor for leading his team’s two-match sweep against No. 7 Pepperdine Waves with 17 blocks, including 9 in match two alone.

Before joining New Hampton School, Benjamin served as head coach of both women’s soccer and lacrosse at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont from 2011-2014, as well as assistant on Division I University of Vermont women’s team (2010). Additionally he holds both a USSF National ‘A’ license as well as an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma.

Personal Life

She relishes spending her free time with family and friends, playing volleyball, attending sporting events, reading books and teaching children in her community. In particular, she feels it important to serve as a good role model.

Before joining Wesleyan, Somera held the women’s head coaching job at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan for three years. While coaching his teams there, Somera led to impressive increases in wins/losses records each year.

Read has proven himself an outstanding coach at all levels of competition. He led UNH to back-to-back America East Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances; Seacoast Juniors Volleyball Club also won their New England Region championship under him; Wheaton College, UConn University and Johnson & Wales have also featured among his coaching responsibilities.

Net Worth

Benjamin was known at Goshen College as the voice of sports. You could hear him booming across baseball fields and volleyball courts alike as well as over radio talking sports; he loved sports so much he couldn’t get enough!

Matt Anderson announced his decision to quit professional volleyball in 2014. At that point he had been playing starting opposite for Berlin Recycling Volleys of Germany’s Bundesliga as well as Zenit Kazan of Russia’s Volleyball Super League where he led them towards championship status.

Benjamin Patch, known for his prolific photography work and impressive social media following, was born 21 June 1994 in Layton, Utah.
