Early Life and Education

As soon as he arrived in Stamford from Iran, Zamani enrolled at UConn with the intention of becoming a doctor. Unfortunately that plan fell through, yet he enjoyed computer-programming classes immensely and eagerly learned new material – an approach which has proven fruitful in helping expand his company based on knowledge acquired during those classes. He credits his mother with giving him such a rich English vocabulary.

Professional Career

Zamani was a highly popular poker player online who used the handle “xthesteinx.” He won numerous major events worldwide and amassed an estimated total casino winnings of $4 Million.

Kenney was accused of manipulating players he supported, ghosting their accounts and colluding with them. On Polk’s podcast, Zamani named Lauren Roberts as someone involved. She denied it herself.

Zamani further asserted that Kenney offered lifestyle suggestions to his horses, including taking them to see a shaman who suggested they take mushrooms – although Zamani refused. Kenney then persisted with pressure for them to do so in order to prevent overlays at GGPoker events for which Kenney guaranteed and earned rake; such tactics are said to help prevent overages at these events and were one of the primary factors leading up to controversy over his actions.

Achievement and Honors

Zamani won his inaugural WPT title at the second event of the season and completely dominated his opponents. He entered the final table with an overwhelming advantage in points over any potential competition, and extended that lead when he busted out early from one final table event to finish fifth overall and secure Player of the Year honors.

Zamani held 84% of his chips when Natasha Barbour attempted a weak 10-9 shove with A-Q holding against Zamani at final table, and she called. Zamani then won his bracelet.

Zamani earned his ninth overall and fourth WPT main event title through this victory, taking home $240,000 cash prize and a custom-made Hublot watch as rewards from Microsoft Research’s CICS Outstanding Dissertation Award and Search & AI Award sponsors.

Personal Life

Zamani is also an accomplished businessperson, owning his own clothing line and glasses company as well as being estimated to be worth more than N13 Million. Furthermore, he serves as CEO for Chocolate City music label.

Zamani asserted in a podcast with Doug Polk that Kenney used real-time assistance programs (RTA) to assist him with winning at high stakes games, specifically Lauren Roberts as being someone Kenney had taken advantage of, while citing Sergi Reixach who has been banned on GGpoker for using RTA.

Polk asked Zamani whether Kenney had any influence over the site and could see players’ screens during gameplay. Zamani believed this to be true but did not know whether Kenney would do this in real time games.

Net Worth

Earnings from music have contributed significantly to his wealth. He owns several properties around the country and reportedly earned millions of dollars through endorsement deals.

He started trading at 19 using stocks and shares before transitioning into forex trading, becoming well-known for using technical analysis to make sound investments.

He has a younger sister named Nomzamo who is also an actress, having been born in Durban and becoming an established face on television screens through many series and movies that she starred in. Nomzamo’s family are extremely close and always support each other with Wendy Mbatha serving as brand ambassadors for Audi, McDonald’s, L’Oreal Paris and Puma respectively.
