When not at the shop, Dave enjoys reading and spending time with his family. He also takes pleasure in motorcycle riding and watching sports.
Early Life and Education
Early childhood education, specifically the first three years of a child’s life (birth-age three), is crucial for their mental and emotional development. Children who do not receive adequate stimulation during this period often face serious long-term consequences throughout their lives.
Childhood experiences and interactions with caregivers, teachers and peers are critical in shaping a child’s development. Furthermore, these interactions can influence language, cognitive and socio-emotional capacities which in turn predict future labor market success.
Dave was raised helping his grandfather clean and prepare cars for sale at their Wetumpka, Alabama used car dealership. Additionally, he spent time sweeping floors at local automotive shops while studying automobile technology at technical college.
As a kid, Dave would spend endless hours working at his grandfather’s old school mobile mechanic shop. He was an experienced automotive tinkerer, capable of doing everything from car repair to motorcycle maintenance and sales.
David enjoys the freedom to pursue what he loves in a career that allows him to follow his passions. Aside from running David’s Tire & Auto, David moonlights as an expert marketing consultant through Tread Partners – an innovative digital media agency. Their services focus on helping automotive retailers maximize their marketing budgets through creative tactics like SEO, e-mail, social media management and more – with David getting to wear all the big boy pants occasionally!
