Early Life and Education

David Darden was born in Summit, New Jersey and grew up in Westfield. While attending Tamaques Elementary School, he enjoyed playing on their soccer and baseball teams. Additionally, David was involved with scouting activities by attending Philmont Scout Ranch.

He later graduated from Simms High School in 1974 and went on to barbering school in Salt Lake City. Upon graduating, he worked at Westgate Barbershop in Great Falls for five years.

At NASA, Darden worked as a human computer. These mathematicians created programs and solved calculations for engineers at Langley Research Center.

Subsequently, he founded his own company that provides enterprise-side interest rate risk management and performance measurement solutions.
