The Denver Broncos defeated the Cleveland Browns 26 to 23 in overtime in Week 6 of the NFL season. Peyton Manning had three interceptions, one touchdown and a pancake block, but the Broncos won a thrilling AFC Conference game. The Broncos will face off in Week 14 to try and win their first division title since 2011.
The Broncos are leading the all-time series, at 22-5. They have won ten of their last 13 games. Eight of those games were won in double digits by Denver. Joel Thorman is the only Browns fan that I know. This team has its fair share of controversy. Here are some things to keep in mind when betting on this matchup.
The Browns offense isn’t very good. RB Melvin Gordon won’t be joining the team next season. Instead, he will split his time with rookie RB Javonte Wils. Gordon has been a pleasant surprise this season, despite the fact that the Broncos’ offense isn’t at its best. And if the Broncos’ defense is not up to par, the Browns will surely win the game.
Bridgewater: For the past three weeks, the Broncos’ quarterback was in pain. The former Georgia Tech quarterback has been hobbling around the media all week. Vic Fangio desperately needed a win, so Bridgewater was in a desperate place of mind, despite the injury. This game is going to be a tough test for Bridgewater and the Browns. They will win the division if they beat the Broncos at the Dawg Pound.
