Department 56 New England Village

The Department 56 New England Village collection features hand-painted buildings and accessories that capture a bygone era of American life. The collection includes a schoolhouse, library, bank, and maple syrup refinery, as well as figurines of holiday carolers, a lamplighter, and children building a snowman.

A group of friends came up with the original idea for the lighted village. This inspired the creation of Department 56 as well as the introduction of six hand-painted ceramic buildings. This collection is a great addition to holiday decor. It captures the essence of New England and offers a unique perspective on its culture and heritage.
