Doberman Chihuahua Characteristics

Doberman Chihuahuas can be alpha dogs and require a strong leader. These intelligent and playful dogs make great pets but they need to be able to thrive in their new homes. They are intelligent and sensitive to their owners’ emotions. Here are the characteristics of the Doberman Chihuahua:

A Doberman can also become aggressive toward other dogs, especially smaller dogs. Dobermans can become aggressive towards other dogs, especially smaller dogs. They may take a wider stance and keep their eyes on the target. They might have raised hair on their backs or small areas of hair near their rear end. These dogs may also display erect ears and tails. It is important to supervise the interactions between these dogs or, at the very minimum, keep them in separate rooms.

Seven colors are available to the Doberman. Six of these colors are recognized. Full albinos are rare and are the result of a genetic mutation. True albinos are notably more white than white. True albinos are easily identified by their eyes. Blue eyes, for example, indicate a partial albino, while pink eyes indicate a full albino. True albinos will always have blue eyes.

While some Dobermans are good with small dogs, it is important to make sure the two dogs are socialized before introducing them. They need to be closely supervised in order to avoid any accidents. However, if they are properly trained, they can live with other small dogs. A well-socialized Doberman can live with most small dogs. However, the size and weight of a male can lead to problems, particularly if the dog is not neutered.

Modern Dobermans are excellent guard dogs. This large, athletic dog is loved by all and excels in law enforcement, guidework, and personal protection. The Chihuahua is thought to have been derived form the techichi dog. It is the fifth smartest dog breed, and the American Kennel Club has recognized it as a top breed.

This small, but powerful breed requires at least 45 minutes of exercise per day. While this dog breed is known for its stubbornness, with appropriate training, it is capable of being housebroken. Proper brain stimulation is just as important as physical training. This dog is intelligent and responds well to positive reinforcement. It has a moderate prey drive, which can be corrected with proper obedience training.

A Doberman Chihuahua mix can live between ten and twelve years. However, there are some health risks associated with these dogs. A Chihuahua Doberman and Chihuahua Chihua mix can develop patellar luxation. This is a condition that can cause the patella to become dislocated, which is a wing bone that protects the legs. Patellar luxation can lead to arthritis in the later stages. A major problem with this breed is color dilution alopecia. This is due to recessive genes that were passed on from the Doberman.
