Drywell Detail

Creating an attractive, low-maintenance drywell requires planning and design, and this article will explain the various types of these wells. Simple drywells are simply a pit filled with debris that resists collapse. These wells are ineffective storage facilities. Advanced drywells contain a large interior volume. These wells have perforated sides and bottoms, and are usually buried below the parking area. In California, drywells are regulated by the State Water Resources Control Board.
