For A Few Dollars More (Movie Review)

Sergio Leone directed For a Few Dollars more, a 1965 Spaghetti Western movie. Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Gian Maria Volonte star as the troublemakers who attempt to kill the main characters. It is the third film of the “Dollars Trilogy”.

Clint Eastwood plays the title role of the serape-clad Man in For A Few Dollars More, and he teams up with Gian Maria Volonte, Lee Van Cleef, and the late Michael J. Fox to make this film a big success. The film was Eastwood’s first big role in the industry, and it’s a terrific film. Lee Van Cleef is a superb choice as the troubled Colonel Mortimer, and the film is a great example of a movie that can be rewatched.

Sergio Leone is the Dollars Trilogy’s director and one of the most inventive and innovative filmmakers of all times. His debut film, “A Fistful of Dollars,” was a flop, but Leone made the sequel much more successful. Leone’s highly acclaimed work also helped to revive the Italian film industry. In addition to the original film, Sergio Leone invented the genre of Euro-Westerns – Westerns made in Europe with a European cast and an obscure American actor playing the lead role.
