Men’s Basketball Player of the Year – Garrius Adams

Garrius Adams has been one of the standout players on Miami men’s basketball, yet has had his share of ups and downs throughout his career. A senior who will play his final year for Miami this season, Garrius Adams still has much to prove this year.

In his first season with the Hurricanes, he averaged 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while starting seven matches and was second among UM freshman in ACC play with an average of 3.9 points and 1.7 boards per outing.

Early Life and Education

One of the earliest and most formative experiences for garrius was attending Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a graduate student. While studying there he came into contact with some notable alumni and faculty including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln – among many others. John Pfafft earned one of Harvard College’s coveted degrees: Bachelor of Arts degree before accepting a brief teaching position in Worcester; taking advantage of free time visiting nearby attractions was always appealing! This experience did not turn into just another boring classroom lesson!

Professional Career

Adams remains one of the premier players at Miami despite an uncertain junior year. As a versatile big guy who can move well and score at will while being tough on the glass and playing well off the ball, Adams could become one of their premier off guards and become an integral component to this squad.

Garrius Adams was one of North Carolina’s highest-rated recruits and decided to choose Miami over schools like NC State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Although he started seven games as a freshman, his success really came alive during his sophomore campaign when he averaged 7.6 points per game on 39% field shooting and 50% three point shooting – impressive stats indeed!

Achievement and Honors

Your resume should contain a section detailing any awards and achievements you’ve been honored with, from scholarships and prizes to academic honors.

Important to make the application stand out are any achievements that stand out. While it can be challenging, try and think of something noteworthy like awards or distinctions that would stand out on its own and highlight them accordingly.

One popular way of doing this is listing academic honors and awards at the bottom of your resume, under your education section. This strategy can be especially helpful if you possess more than a few, as it helps highlight them all at once.
