George Dom, a retired naval officer and aviator, has held key leadership roles in high performance organizations. As the commanding officer/flight leader of the Blue Angels and instructor pilot at Navy Fighter Weapons School (Topgun), he understands the critical role trust plays when developing strong leaders and teams.

Early Life and Education

Captain George Dom, a Westmoreland County native and graduate of Hempfield Area High School, served in the Navy during his senior year and has been an officer for 19 years, commanding a front-line strike fighter squadron.

Dom is a decorated aviator whose most remarkable accomplishments include leading four aircraft carrier fighter squadrons and serving as flight leader of the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels). Additionally, he taught instructor pilot in their topgun weapon school – or topgun as it’s affectionately known – whose award-winning display was displayed at the National Air and Space Museum. Dom holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and completed graduate level studies at the National War College; in addition to writing several publications about aviation and leadership topics as well as founding NFS Leadership Consulting with services including keynote speeches, workshops and coaching services.

He and his wife Amal own a six-bedroom mansion in Studio City, California which they purchased for $2.2 million during the height of his fame in 1995. Additionally, they own a $7 million home in Berkshire, England as well as an apartment in New York City.
