George Shanine, a Peoria native and University of Illinois at Chicago graduate, has spent his professional life with IBM. In this capacity, his responsibilities include creating goals and strategies tailored to his organization’s needs as well as helping clients find solutions and services tailored to their business requirements. His company, AHEAD, works with enterprise IT organizations to accelerate cloud adoption and adoption. Furthermore, George serves as CEO for TechLeaders Assn. – an organization which has grown from around 7,000 members in the Midwest region under his guidance.
