The comments were the latest in a series of attacks by Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey on various NFL quarterbacks, including New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Ramsey stated in a GQ interview that Manning’s success was due Beckham’s ability catch the ball. Despite being a rookie, Beckham is one of the league’s most consistent and productive wideouts. The Giants will have to prove that Beckham has a similar role to play in the offense in order to keep Manning safe and stifle his competition.
After weighing in on all the quarterbacks in the NFL, Ramsey was asked by GQ to weigh in on all the rookie quarterbacks, including Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield.
