A committee of MPs has voted to summon GoFundMe’s representatives to appear in Parliament over the issue of how it screens hate campaigns. The controversy comes after a protester brandished a Confederate flag in front of the Ontario legislature last weekend. Police in Toronto are currently preparing for a protest at the Ontario legislature. The goal of the fundraiser is $30,000 less than it currently is.
