Disalvatore also received the Len Ceglarski Sportsmanship Award, presented to him by Hockey East for his outstanding efforts in displaying superior conduct and sportsmanship on the ice. This distinction marked Disalvatore’s first receiving this honor in 11 years.

John Disalvatore is an NHL star as well as an accomplished golfer and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from John Carroll University before going on to receive his doctorate in chiropractic from the same university.
