John Followill is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist for Grammy award-winning southern rock band Kings of Leon. He is married to Johanna Bennett and father to two children, Knox and Adrian.

Brothers Matthew Followill and Matthew Jones formed the band in 2000. Three years later their debut EP “Holy Roller Novocaine” was released through RCA Records.
