Early Life and Education

The initial five years of a child’s life are critical in developing social skills, self-esteem, moral outlook and intellectual ability. Brains develop rapidly during this period; therefore early childhood education plays an essential role in prepping them for school and future learning opportunities.

Parents are children’s primary educators during these early years, but emotional and cognitive development also benefit from interaction with adults who are trained to support them during these critical developmental phases. Ideally, early childhood education (ECE) programs promote these essential learning aspects through small class sizes, ample teacher interaction and a holistic approach that encompasses the whole child.
