John Ringer’s life was a long and eventful one, from his days as an undercover reporter on the London beat, to his retirement from the glitzy world of All State Insurance. Among the highlights of his time were a tour of India and a visit to the fabled Orient Express. His wife, Sarah Barfield Ringer, passed away in 2003, leaving John a lonely man at the ripe old age of 57. In addition to his many children, John had four grandchildren. During his early adult years, John and his brood lived in Toronto, Ottawa and, of course, London. After the dust settled, John emigrated to the US where he lived out the remainder of his life. Interestingly, he was a member of the General Baptist Church in Ellsinore, Missouri.
