John Wepler was born in 1851 to Henry Wepler and Elizabeth Wepler.

He served in the US Army as a Military Policeman. During the Iraqi conflict, he served as an Infantry Company First Sergeant.

After serving 15 months in Afghanistan, he returned home and is the proud father of three children.

He joined Marsh, Berry & Company in 1991 and quickly rose to become Chairman. While there, John assisted both his dad and brother-in-law (Count Georg Hoyos) with developing torpedoes for Corvettes.
