Kaidan Barlow-Gardener, 14, Was Shot to Death in Atlanta on July 3

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a teen named Kaidan Barlow-Gardener died from his injuries. Two other victims were treated at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. The suspect was a 17-year-old boy who was detained after police found two pistols on him. He was charged with possession of a handgun under the age of 18, but not with the death of Barlow-Gardener.

During a massive brawl in Atlanta on July 3, police found an unarmed 14-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds. Police also arrested another teen, 16, in connection with the killing. The other two were injured in the brawl. Atlanta police released a surveillance video of a person they believe is a suspect. After releasing the video, authorities have arrested another teen.

The shooting left two teenagers injured. The teens reportedly fought over a piece of pie. The teen who drew the weapon is in custody in connection with the incident. He is being held in Fulton County Jail without bond. Police say he was already in jail for a number of other crimes including third-degree felony child cruelty. They also said he had a gun.
