La Catrina, New Brunswick’s Mexican Cultural Centre

Although New Brunswick was predominantly white, its recent growth has seen a diverse and vibrant population. Today, more than 25% of the population is Latino. Their migration brought with them traditional Mexican culture. La Catrina is named after the Day of the Dead satirical drawings of skeletons.
