Miss Dots Pound Cake Recipe

One of my favorite pound cakes is the one Miss Dot makes. We used her recipe on the show when we moved to a new house and she had a tradition of making them for the new owners. She poured the ingredients into a bundt pan, baked it at 300 degrees for one hour, and then gently removed it. We loved her pound cake and were thrilled to try her version. It was so good, we made it twice.

The cake is so delicious that I decided to make it myself, as it’s the best one I’ve had in a while. We bought the ingredients at Walmart and Aldi, scrambling the ingredients to make our own version. We followed Miss Dot’s directions and used a mixer to beat the batter on high speed. Then, we mixed the wet and dry ingredients together. The resulting batter had a caramel flavor and tasted incredible!

The recipe uses three cups of all-purpose flour, 6 eggs, 3 sticks of butter, and eight ounces of cream cheese. We added a bit of vanilla extract to ours, and then we topped it off with whipped cream and a crackly crust. As the cake baked, we licked our fingers, savored the butter, and dipped the dough in a bowl of chocolate chips.

The Miss Dots’ pound cake recipe featured on the season finale of HGTV’s Home Town. This pound-cake recipe featured cream cheese and a porch swing, but we weren’t sure if they were authentic. Luckily, we were able to find the recipe on the show and we were able to make it at home! It was easy and delicious, and it turned out to be a cinch to make.

The original version of this recipe was invented in the early 1700s in Northern Europe, and was first known as a sour-cream pound cake. Today, we can make it with a variety of ingredients, but the basic ingredients for this recipe are: softened butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar. If you’re a fan of the show, the recipe is easy to follow, even if you don’t have a television.

The recipe was written by Erin Napier and was shared with her neighbors. During the season five finale, the cake was adorned with hand-printed wallpaper in the grand foyer, and the rich blue and white colors infused the entire home. As the two neighbors, Miss Dot was a big part of their lives, and we couldn’t be happier. Whether it was the cake, the show, or the show itself, Miss Dot is an icon.
