Miss New Jersey AlyssaSullivan’s work goes far beyond the borders of her state. Miss Sullivan is currently working as a production coordinator for PHL17. She has competed in the Miss New Jersey pageant five times and was once the first runner up. She talked about her time as a contestant and about preparing for Miss America.

Alyssa Sullivan is a 25-year-old resident of Cape May Court House, NJ. Rowan University has awarded her a bachelor’s in journalism. She has worked in the news industry through internships with Fox 29 and 6abc. She is now preparing to compete in Miss America 100th Anniversary Miss America Competition in Dec.
Sullivan is active in her local community. She makes appearances at many events across the state. She speaks at parades and golf outings. She is also a vocal advocate of the Commit2Character and Peer Challenge.
Sullivan is the reigning Miss New Jersey 2021. She hails from Cape May. She competed against 30 other women for the title. She won in two of the three onstage competition categories: talent, social impact initiative, and onstage interview. She will go on to compete for Miss America at the Mohegan Casino and Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut in December. She will represent Connecticut at the 100th anniversary Miss America pageant.
The winner of Miss New Jersey 2022 will go on to represent the state in Miss America 2023. She will also be competing for Miss America 2022. She is currently studying to be a magazine editor. She enjoys spending time with her large Greek extended family and cuddling with Zoe, her dog.
