The New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championships showcase the best high school track and field athletes in the United States. The last event was held at Franklin Field in NYC where 3,600 student athletes competed and 5 national records were established. The University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field will host the next competition, which will take place from June 16-19, 2022. Register at the New Balance Nationals website. The field was large, with the fastest girl and boy in history winning a gold medal. Many events were contested by men of all ages, including long jump, weight throw, and sprints. Justin Rogers, who was crowned New Balance Nationals Indoor last February, is a likely contender in the Boys 100 meter and 200-meter events. Laila Campbell won in Spring Grove the 100-meter title.
