The Bruin Theater, a renovated movie house in New Bern, NC, will open on Thursday. It was previously known as the Neuse Boulevard Cinema and will feature a modern design with exposed steel beams and masonry walls. There will be leather reclining seats and concessions including wine, coffee and beer.
The theater’s interior has been updated with new furniture and equipment. The theater’s exterior will feature a custom sign by Bender Signs of Pollocksville. It will also have a new color scheme and a wall mural. The lobby will have a soda fountain as well as a digital movie display. The theater will also offer drink service, including soda refills and high-end beverages.
