The ground breaking ceremony was held in the early morning hours. It began with a Palkhi procession for the presiding deity, Sai Baba. After the Palkhi procession, the temple was formally inaugurated by the Hon. Dnyaneshwar Murlay, Consul General of India. The event was attended by prominent members of the local community.
