New Faces on the Bucks Roster for 2013-14

If you were a die-hard Milwaukee Bucks fan, you’re probably wondering if there are any changes to the Bucks roster for the 2013-14 season. However, there are some new faces on Bucks’ roster. Ovinton J’Anthony Mayo is the new point guard. He has tied for the league lead of games played four times. Veteran guard Greg Oden, with a career 21.1 per cent “assist percentage”, is the team’s other Gatorade Player-of-the-Year winner.

The Milwaukee Bucks also have some great role players. Although Kristaps Porzingis has not been extended, the Bucks have signed Larry Sanders and traded for Caron and Ish Smith. There’s a little bit of firepower here, but the Bucks have a lot of pieces that need to be put together to win. As a result, the team is lacking in offensive firepower, but has nice enough defensive ability to stay competitive.

The Bucks signed Miroslav Radijica, Gary Neal and O.J. Mayo to rookie-scale contracts. They waived Drew Gooden under the amnesty provision and signed O.J. Mayo signed a three-year, $24million deal. They also traded Luc Richard Mbah a Moute from the Sacramento Kings to acquire a player of their choosing.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo was selected as the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Bucks ended their season with just 15 wins and 67 losses. That was the worst record in the NBA and franchise history, and the team finished five games under their season low in 1993-94. The Bucks are currently in free agency season. It will be interesting to see how the roster changes as they move into playoffs.

– Michael Ross, a junior at Marshall University, is another intriguing name on the Bucks’ roster. The former Detroit Red Wings forward is a recent product of a two-year NBA experience. He played for the Thundering Herd for two seasons and was named to the All-Freshman team during his freshman season. He was also a Vardar Developmental Academy graduate, so the Red Wings have added two seasons to their roster.
