The New Orleans Museum of Art is located in an historic building that was once a courthouse and monastery. One section of the museum is dedicated to Hurricane Katrina, and the exhibits reflect the residents’ personal grief. Tommie Elton Mabry wrote on the walls in 2nd Ward public housing.
