Oh K-Dog Opens in New Haven

Oh K-Dog, a fast-food chain that serves Korean-inspired food at multiple locations, is growing across the country. It has locations in Texas, New York and Illinois. It has now opened a branch at 208 College St. in New Haven. The restaurant serves Korean-style hot dogs on sticks in bright, clean surroundings. There are many options on the menu, including a rice cake, premium beef dog and mozzarella block.

Oh K-Dog is located right next to the Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School. It opened its doors earlier in the month in a former Which Wich site. Oh K-Dog is based in Texas and has five locations in New Haven. 14 more are in the works.

In addition to Korean hot dogs, Oh K-Dog offers a wide variety of Korean-inspired food. The menu includes Korean egg toast (egg or avocado sandwiched between two slices of thick bread). The Korean egg toast is served with hot sauce and mayo. You can also find Korean-inspired food like Korean soft drinks and crunchy snacks called “tteokbokki”. A selection of slushies are also available on the menu.
