Papeles in Spanish and English

Papeles in Spanish is a very similar word to the English word “role.” Both words can be used to refer to the exact same thing. In both languages, papeles does not function as a verb but a noun. In Spanish, however, papel is a verb, which means roll. This verb may also refer to different types of paper, as well as the roles that people and objects play.
