Renfroe, a Right-Handed Outfielder for the Boston Red Sox

Renfroe made his Major League Baseball debut with the Padres in 2015. He started in right field for most of the season, but was optioned to Triple-A after being assigned to the minors. Despite his minor-league experience, Renfroe quickly moved up the ladder and was recalled after just one year. His 2017 batting average was.231/.284/.467 and he had 26 home runs. Unlike Garcia, Renfroe was not a starter until the year ended.

Before being selected in the 2010 MLB draft by the Boston Red Sox, Renfroe spent his college years playing for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He was awarded the following accolades while playing for the Bulldogs: Southeastern Conference Player-of-the Week, C Spire Ferriss Trophy and Golden Spikes Award watchlist. The Big Train retired his number in 2012. Despite his relatively young age, Renfroe remains a valuable part of the Boston Red Sox’s organization.
