The Shepherd’s Center of Orange Park, a wonderful non-profit organization that provides support and services to seniors, is amazing. The center’s biggest fundraiser is its annual gala, and all proceeds go directly towards the center. This event honors volunteers, honors the mission of the center, and celebrates its volunteers and supporters. The event takes nine months to plan and has raised thousands of dollars in past years. Chris Bass is a Board Member, serves as Secretary, teaches two classes of Tangling, assists with registration, mans the outreach booth at the Orange Park Farmer’s Market, and designs the newsletter. It is evident that she is dedicated to the organization.
