He served in the military and earned the rank of master sergeant before enjoying classic cars and jazz music in his free time. Additionally, he’s an ordained minister at Unity Church. Additionally, Bertra Bradford McGann and Leyland Seth McGann share three children: Leyland Seth McGann (Leyland), Bethany Lauren McGann (Bethany Lauren), and Bradford Warren McGann.

Professional Career

He worked as an electrical engineer specializing in integrated circuit verification development, with multiple patents covering fiber optics to high voltage isolation. Additionally, he taught computer languages and engineering concepts at professional conferences both domestically and internationally.

Steve holds a keen interest in public service, volunteering as an active volunteer with the Dallas Fire Department and being a life member of the NRA. Together with his wife Shirley he are members of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco Texas where they regularly attend. Furthermore he enjoys participating in outdoor activities, having completed more than 60 half marathons through Half Fanatics Running Club and DFW Rucking Crew membership.

Bolen advocates for an independent commission to draw congressional and legislative districts after each census, and for a constitutional amendment that would prohibit partisan gerrymandering.

Achievement and Honors

Bolen has made numerous charitable donations in healthcare and education, serving on the board of trustees at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas and being an active member of the Dallas Running Club, DFW Rucking Crew, White Rock Boat Club as well as more than 60 half marathons completed and enjoying various outdoor sports such as kayaking, hiking, cycling and skiing.

Bolen is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California and University of California Hastings, having become a member of the bar since 1989 and listed by Martindale-Hubble as a preeminent lawyer. Additionally, he holds life membership of NRA and lives with his wife of 29 years in Frisco Texas.

Personal Life

Bolen was raised on his family farm near Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan and attended Wesson School just a quarter mile away. From Grade 8 on, he worked the farm while also attending Wesson. Once completing grade 8, Bolen decided to go into farming full time.

As well as his career in real estate, Mr. Farris is also active with several non-real estate activities including running clubs: Half Fanatics Running Club with over 60 half marathons under their belt; Dallas Rucking crew and White Rock Boat Club as well as Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco Texas.

Mr. Kittleman has long been an advocate for mental health, speaking out on this topic at various events across Maryland. In 2022, he plans on running for Maryland House of Delegates District 9A against Natalie Ziegler and incumbent Trent Kittleman.
