Early Life and Education
Steve Cadill is an American actor, author, and politician who currently serves on the Berea City Council. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Ball State University before later graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a Masters of Public Affairs. Cadill has appeared in various films and television shows over his career.

Caudill was the son of R. B. and Jane Cornett Caudill and had one brother, Henry, who eventually married Robert Sumner’s daughter and had several children who have all passed on now.
Professional Career
He graduated at the top of his class from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2004. Following two years away in Indiana and longing to return home, he joined Caudill Orthodontics along with his father and Donald Ray where he practices orthodontics in Merritt Island and Suntree.
He served as President of the Kentucky Press Association and was instrumental in revamping their Open Meetings and Open Records laws to become much stronger. Additionally, he founded both a Legal Defense Fund for KPA as well as an internship program to give young journalists an opportunity to grow professionally.

Achievement and Honors
As a graduate of Summa Cum Laude at the University of Florida School of Dentistry (go Gators!), Ryan specializes in orthodontics. He owns and operates Caudill Orthodontics locations in Merritt Island and Suntree, FL as well as being part of Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
His survivors include two daughters: Peyton Machale Caudill and Skylar Marlowe; his mother Minnie Lou Edwards Johnson of Sparta; a brother Mark Steven Caudill from Independence; Mandy Johnson with Travis Gunter as her husband from Liberty; step-niece Makayla Gunter as well as numerous extended family members. All arrangements were handled by Powell Funeral Home and Crematory.
Personal Life
As well as their real estate career, Caudill and his family have also been engaged in community service efforts. He founded the Caudill Scholarship, benefiting high school students across San Diego County. Additionally, they volunteered at American Red Cross events and worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Margie Bradshaw Caudill was an exemplary wife and mother. She provided support for many grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom became part of her extended family by love. Margie passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022 – our family extends our deepest appreciation to Wickshire Steele Creek as well as Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte Region for providing such outstanding care during this difficult time.
