Stephen Colby was born in Washington, DC and raised near Charleston, South Carolina. His family arrived from Ireland during the mass immigration from Ireland during the 19th century.

His athletic accomplishments included soccer, lacrosse and basketball at Moultonborough Academy where he earned All-Conference, All-State, Coaches’ Award Players’ Choice NHIAA Sportsmanship Scholar Athlete honors; additionally he competed in Nordic skiing where he received All-American accolades.

Colby hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Utilizing his award-winning experience as both director and cinematographer to lead one of the most prolific commercial production companies in Southeast, his work has been seen across 47 states and numerous nations worldwide.

He was an active member of National Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society and the AP Scholar program; additionally he held Team Organizer duties within Student Government.

Joshua Warner of Barrington will attend Colby-Sawyer College to study Biology on the Pre-Dental track. He served as Reporter for both National Honor Society and National Latin Honor Society; additionally, he achieved AP Scholar status by attaining excellent scores on three or more AP exams.

Personal Life

Colby takes great pleasure in spending his free time with family, camping and fishing – activities which he shares with his wife who lives with them in Goodland, Kansas, along with son Xavier.

Colby has worked with various musical artists and ensembles over his career, working to ensure sound quality is appropriate for each performance by selecting an appropriate loudspeaker type, positioning it before audiences, and adjusting its volume level as necessary.
