Mamet has played many leading roles on television and film, such as Pleasantville, Kate & Allie, Homicide and Law & Order; Room; as well as appearing in his plays House of Games, Things Change, Oleanna (reprising the role he originally created on Broadway), Spartan and Wag the Dog written and directed by Mamet.
