Steve Logsdon

Steve Logsdon is a clinical psychologist located in Schertz, TX who currently practices at Guadalupe Regional Hospice and accepts multiple insurance plans.

From 1994 to 2010, Bradley Central High School posted an undefeated home dual meet record under wrestling coach Steve Logsdon at home dual meets. To recognize their achievement, The Allan Jones Foundation presented them with a plaque at Jim Smiddy Arena of their school.

Early Life and Education

Logsdon was raised in Hyndman and attended its local high school before enrolling in the Army at 17 just in time to fight in Korea. From basic training he advanced quickly onto the front lines, holding back waves of North Korean infantry that invaded Pusan perimeter.

He served 33 1/2 years in the military before his retirement in 1982, joining organizations such as the American Legion of Cumberland, Woodmen of the World Chapter 6 and Knobley Mountain Properties Hunt Club. Additionally he enjoyed hunting, fishing and helping others while attending bingo with his wife.

He is survived by his wife Cynda and their son Chad of Ridgeley. Additionally, he leaves behind one brother, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Professional Career

Logsdon serves as a patent agent in the firm’s Chemical Patent Prosecution group and handles patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients, with expertise spanning organic chemistry and nanomaterials.

Logsdon guided Bradley Central to an outstanding 382-26 record during his 18 years at the helm, including two dual state championships, nine traditional wins, four undefeated seasons and seven one-loss seasons – coaching 35 wrestlers to individual state championships along the way.

Logsdon serves not only with the Rams but also serves on the Bradley Pride Youth Wrestling club where he assists young kids in becoming collegiate athletes. Furthermore, Logsdon served in both United States Army Reserves and was once employed as firefighter in Chattanooga city government; public records indicate he currently resides in Conroe Texas.

Achievement and Honors

Logsdon High School teams compiled an incredible home dual meet record from 1994-2010 (over 18 seasons), boasting an undefeated home dual meet mark of 128-0 until being defeated by Soddy Daisy High School’s team in 2010. A plaque honoring this amazing accomplishment now proudly stands in Jim Smiddy Arena at Bradley Central High School.

Jenna is part of our Chemical Patent Prosecution group where she counsels clients in chemical patent prosecution matters related to organic chemistry, materials science, nanomaterials and related nanotechnologies. Additionally, Jenna collaborates closely with university inventors in multiple disciplines.

Steve graduated from CBC with a double major in missions and Bible, serving Central Assembly’s youngest youth pastor before later earning a master’s degree at AGTS and currently serving Evangel University’s Center for Compassion as program and logistics coordinator.

Personal Life

Logsdon spends his free time enjoying time with his family, and supporting the Bradley Pride Youth Wrestling club he is an advocate of. Recently he accepted a financial contribution from Allan Jones Foundation in order to expand this program further.

Vine Grove Masonic Lodge # 603 and Department of the Army Civil Service Employee at Fort Knox are both his memberships; additionally he belongs to Mount Sterling American Legion Post #374 as a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie L. Stull; three children: Kristina Kiegel and husband Ben of Tennyson, Carrie Hardesty with Jasper as husband in Payneville and Terry Stull and wife Kellie from Monroe County; eight grandchildren including Megan Kiegel, Kyle Kiegel, Koty Cummins with Nikolas Cummins as well as Kaity and Levi Stull as well as two great-grandchildren as well as his brother Clarence J “Giz” Logsdon of Mount Sterling.

Logsdon, as a founding partner of the firm, specializes in workplace safety and catastrophe matters as well as representing employers in labor and employment law issues. He is married to Frankie L. Stull of Tennyson Indiana; Carrie Hardesty Payneville Kentucky; and Terry Stull who currently resides in Seguin Texas.

Before co-founding Cerity Partners, he worked as a partner at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in Orange County, CA where he designed investment portfolio strategies for high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives and business owners, professional athletes, coaches, foundations and retirement plans.

He has long been an active coach of the Bradley Pride youth wrestling club and believes in giving back to his community. As part of that commitment, he pledged to match every dollar raised up to $20,000. Through these contributions, many young wrestlers have found success in their chosen sport.
