Steve McKee – Business Author, Consultant and MMA Fighter

Steve McKee is an award-winning business author known for writing many books in this field. In addition to writing books, he also runs an established consulting firm and teaches at one of the nation’s premier universities.

Beginning his second stint with the Florida Gulf Coast University pitching staff in 2019, he is responsible for working closely with Green and Blue pitchers. Prior to that, he served as their inaugural pitching coach/recruiting coordinator from 2002-04.

Early Life and Education

Steven McKee is an award-winning author whose debut book My Father’s Heart chronicled his father’s demise from cardiovascular disease. Additionally, he served on faculty at both the School of Social Work and LBJ School of Public Affairs at University of Texas – teaching courses such as organizational development, community practice, governance of nonprofit organizations.

Current Florida Gulf Coast University baseball assistant pitching coach Kevin McKee has worked with numerous drafted and free agent professional baseball players. As part of Florida Gulf Coast’s first Atlantic Sun Conference championship win ever in 2018, McKee was honored by UAMS Professor Cynthia Kane with the Horace Marvin Award, their highest student academic achievement honor given by their institution.

Professional Career

McKee Wallwork Cleveland is a successful integrated marketing agency, having won two Effie Awards. Specializing in revitalizing stalled brands and organizational development/governance of nonprofits.

McKee was an energetic defensive lineman for Richmond in 1998 before being traded to Collingwood with Clinton King and pick three in the national draft for pick three in 2004’s national draft. There he shared ruck duties with Josh Fraser before being delisted at year end.

At Northern State, McKee served as both intramurals coordinator and an assistant athletic director for external operations. As part of his responsibilities he oversaw team store management, managed sponsorship sales initiatives, completed ticket sales initiatives, assisted special event promotion activities like golf classic and Wolves on the Water fishing tournament promotions as well as special event promotion including golf classic and Wolves on the Water fishing tournament promotions.

Achievement and Honors

McKee has had great success in screenwriting. He is considered one of the premier lecturers on modern media storytelling and his groundbreaking book STORY is essential reading for screenwriters everywhere. McKee has even played an influential role in shaping some of today’s most beloved films and TV shows like AMC’s Breaking Bad.

In 2021, McKee was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman and received a lifelong restriction order for this crime. After being released from prison he began abusing his victim at various locations across Scotland over months – she later told jurors he attempted to destroy her life.

Personal Life

McKee boasts an impressive resume. As an athlete for the University of Sioux Falls and later earning a master’s degree in Sports Management at Northern State. Furthermore, he held the position of assistant athletic director for external operations at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).

He has extensive coaching experience at all levels of college, high school, and amateur baseball – college championship, two division titles at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), many undrafted free agents being drafted; assistant coach/recruiting coordinator duties at Florida Southwestern State College as well as several books written (A Student’s Guide to Federal Civil Rules being one such title); in 23 years practicing as an attorney

Net Worth

McKee is one of the rising stars in mixed martial arts (MMA). With 18 victories under his belt and earning up to $75,000 per fight, he is one of the leading contenders for featherweight division titles.

His social media following includes Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; in addition, his father Antonio is an accomplished mixed martial arts fighter and has participated in multiple promotions.

McKee is well known for his strong wrestling game and aggressive, hard-hitting competition. McKee made his Bellator debut in 2015 and since has made a huge impactful statement about himself within the promotion. Most recently he defeated William Sriyapai by TKO at Bellator 228 before competing in both Georgi Karakhanyan’s featherweight tournament and defeating both Georgi Karakhanyan and Derek Campos to secure yet another victory at Bellator 228, defeating both.
