Early Life and Education

When teenagers commit terrible crimes, it can be easy to blame an unhappy childhood, violent media content or mental illness as the main culprits. According to state prosecutor Gary Wenger however, these explanations are just excuses – instead the real issue lies within a lack of guidance from authority figures.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’s Delta Episode features Steven in a battle against Zinnia as she attempts to stop Grand Meteor Delta from destroying their world of Pokemon. He confides in Wallace his desire to step away from being Champion one day, so as to travel more widely; Wallace playfully accepts.

His research interests focus on Internet infrastructure and services; wide-scale distributed systems; virtual machine monitor architectures; as well as security issues like fighting malware.

He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed research publications and successfully completed seven Ph.D degrees. He was also one of the founding members of ProxiNet corporation, which offers cloud-based software development, testing, and deployment platforms.
