The Bucks’ 2014-15 Roster

The Milwaukee Bucks are one the worst teams in the NBA. This team struggled despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s rookie season and Nate Wolters’s addition. They finished the season with just fifteen wins and 67 losses, the lowest total in franchise history. The Bucks finished five games below their record from 1993-94. The Bucks are likely make some roster changes now that free agency is in full swing.

Ovinton J’Anthony Mayo is the Milwaukee Bucks’ new point guard. He has tied for the league lead of games played four times. They also have a Gatorade Player of the Year in Greg Oden, who has a career 21.1 percent “assist percentage.”

Andrei Ilyasova is a second shooting guard. He’s penciled in behind John Henson but is also a great shooter. With Larry Sanders in the paint, the Bucks could use a gunner on the bench. Caron Butler, a former NBA star, could be added to the bench. A trio of big men will provide some depth to the frontcourt. The Bucks need to be aware that some players may not be able contribute consistently to a team that lacks a proven shot blocker.

The 2014-15 Milwaukee Bucks roster was young and unproven. The Bucks won 60 games last season, but a year later, they won only forty-six. The team also relied on unproven players for a big part of their success. Giannis Antetokounmpo was a rookie who was part of a trade with Philadelphia for two players. However, it didn’t work out for either player in the long run.

The Milwaukee Bucks had an inconsistent first season under Larry Drew, but they are still a strong contender in the Eastern Conference. They still have some decent shooting, and good defense. To make the playoffs, they will have to rely on their defense, which means Larry Drew will need to establish an identity. Whether they’re a perennial playoff team, or a mediocre team, the Bucks’ roster has the talent to do so.

Khris Middleton – Despite only scoring twelve points per game, the Milwaukee Bucks star played the same role in Detroit as Kyrie Irving. In his rookie year, he averaged 7.7 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game. Overall, the Bucks finished with a record of 15-16. That’s the worst record in franchise history. The Bucks’ 2013-14 roster featured five rookies and five veterans.
