The Indianapolis Colts 2017 Roster

You’ve probably heard a lot of talk about the Indianapolis Colts’ 2017 roster, but what exactly is on it? There’s only one way to answer that question – by examining the current team’s roster. The Colts currently stand at 1-4 and have lost 16 out of 21 of their 21 games. Their record is just good enough to place them in the bottom of the AFC South Division. It’s still fascinating to see who the team signs, and who they let go.

The offensive line of the Colts is mixed. They were able to keep two of their starters from last season, but there was uncertainty about the depth of their offensive line. With the additions of Clark and Haeg, the line looks better than it has in years. Deyshawn Bond will start his first NFL game at center. The Colts’ defense line is filled with veterans at guard, center, and tackle.

Rookies like Malik Hooker and Rock Ya-Sin will be critical for the Colts’ defensive line. Both have proven they can be dominant against press coverage. Hooker is not the only interesting addition to the secondary. Rock Ya-Sin, second-year cornerback, is also intriguing. Reich is proud of the rookie’s performance in his first NFL camp. His ability to beat coverage is something Reich values. Patmon, who is 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, never seemed to slow down.

Another rookie who impressed the team in 2017 was Tyler Wilson. The former first-round pick had tremendous potential, but his knee injury slowed his integration into the lineup. Wilson has shown that he can play man-to-man despite injuries to his shoulder and knee. He is only 21 years old but has the potential to make a significant impact on the team’s defense.

Andrew Luck was the NFL QB of the Year in 2016. He posted four seasons with 8,000+ passing yards, including a 40-touchdown campaign in 2014. He’s also a prolific playmaker with eighteen game-winning drives, so his absence is especially significant. The Colts’ 2017 roster was not particularly competitive. In addition, the team was a weak defense in 2016, and Luck’s absence has reinforced that point.

After a season in the which the Colts lost seven halftime leads, Indy is now 3-6. They won two games in a row, but in addition to a win and a loss, the Colts had to suffer another blow. They were outscored by Pittsburgh by seven points and threw away their tickets. They haven’t been so dissatisfied in a long time. And they aren’t the only ones.

The Colts led 13-6 at the end of the fourth quarter when Ryan Succop kicked a 42 yard field goal. Despite disappointing performances by Adam Vinatieri and Frank Gore, the Colts had a chance of winning the game. But their first touchdown of the season was a failed field goal, which ended up being blocked. The Colts’ offense was sore for seven plays and only 77 yards.
