The Three Amigos Chinese Food is a name you may have heard of. But what are these places? It turns out that three different businesses in the same area have been in business for generations, but this one has recently closed due to a coronavirus pandemic. Though it started out as a grocery store, Three Amigos introduced Chinese food to the area in the 1990s. Now, it serves both Mexican and Chinese cuisine.
The original title of The Three Amigos movie, was The Three Caballeros. Steve Martin is credited with conceiving the idea, and he talked about it as early as 1980. He was fortunate to find a director who was willing and able to adapt the idea. Fran Drescher appeared in the original movie, but the footage wasn’t used in the finished film. Some scenes were therefore omitted.
