The CAT button in a car’s stereo system is used to access the CD player’s child and parent folders. The CAT button will not tell you what it is, but it does let you know that the music player has a full CD installed. Although the CAT icon doesn’t provide any further explanation, it does indicate that the system has been set up to play the entire CD. The CAT icon will not tell you how to use the CAT feature.
