On May 8, however, the San Juan Basin Public Health Department issued an order to restrict commerce for dog groomers in La Plata and Durango until the governor reaches a final decision on the matter. While the governor’s order did not categorize barbers or dog groomers based on the risk of spreading the novel coronavirus, the order did not differentiate between barbers and nonessential businesses.
