Helping Hands Resale Shoppe
Small World Connections, the nonprofit organization that operates the Helping Hands Resale Shoppe, has given back more than $1 million to charities in the Chillicothe area in the past eight years. Located at 1249 N. Fourth Street, the shop benefits 50 local nonprofit organizations. Checks are given out to charities and nonprofit organizations each month. In February, Drew’s Plots and Princess Closet received help.
The resale shoppe was opened in December. After volunteering their time, Sherry and Ressler were inspired to open the shop. A local business owner on Second Street offered them a space rent-free for the first month. The two women were a perfect match for the job. They are a great team, and they look forward to growing the business as well as making a difference in their community.
This Catholic charity is located in Chillicothe (Illinois) and helps individuals and families with a wide variety of needs.
