Rebecca’s Paws and Claws, Inc.’s story begins with two women on a personal mission. They visited local kill shelters and rescued many animals before giving them new homes. They were inspired by the animals and realized that there were many families who desperately needed these animals. The goal of the organization is to help these families and continue the legacy of their great rescued pets.
Rebecca’s Paws and Claws Inc. was founded in 2009 and serves RI and Hartford, CT. Applicants must fill out an application for the dog or cat they wish to adopt. The organization will schedule a telephone interview to determine if the potential adopter is a good match for the animal. In addition to a phone interview, Rebecca’s Paws and Claws also conducts a vet reference check on prospective adopters.
